No.81 - Winter - 1999/2000
Environmental Consultants (CTNC) Ltd is a professional consultancy specialising in research and advice on environmental issues such as the impacts of development projects, the management of sites for nature conservation and the creation of habitats across Cornwall.
Launched in 1992, in response to an ever-increasing demand for the professional services of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, the company is wholly owned by - and all profits are covenanted to - the Trust.
The consultancy is headed by qualified environmental scientists and, through its links with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, has access both to a network of specialist ecologists across the county and to the comprehensive computerised database of ecological records which is held within the Environmental Records Centre for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (ERCCIS).
The company continues to grow and it attracted more work both from public organisations and from private companies during 1999 than ever before. Our Managing Director is Trevor Edwards and we employ Nicola Roberts (Senior Project Manager), Janet Dinsdale (Assistant Senior Project Manager), Steve Adams, Caroline Arkley and Eula Eliades (Project Managers), with Jane Willis providing admin support.
As we move into the next millennium we aim to continue providing expert nature conservation advice, based on high-quality research, and to expand our range of consultancy activities in order to provide the best professional service for the benefit of the people and countryside of Cornwall.
