See some of the breeding auks, with a possibility of puffins, and lovely flowers. The full walk will be about 6 miles, but you may either arrange to be picked up at Tintagel or turn back part-way. Carry lunch, waterproofs, and stout footwear.

MESSING ABOUT ON THE RIVER

The Roseland Outdoor Education Centre has arranged an afternoon of watery activities for us, including trips on an 8-person Canadian canoe and some beachcombing. Parents must take part as well, and the cost is £6 per person.

Meet by bend in road by locked MoD gate - just north of Mount, 2 miles north west of Perranporth. SW 783567
A rare chance to discover the wonders of this MoD reserve in midsummer. The silver-studded blue butterfly will be emerging now and we should see good numbers of fresh butterflies together basking in the sun.
