The Trust's Photographic Group presents its latest news, together with some stunning images from its latest annual competition. Don't miss out on the group's exhibition at the Royal Cornwall Museum café in Truro, which runs from February until 2nd March.

In September 2001 we started the important task of selecting images for our exhibition in the Royal Cornwall Museum's café. This exhibition will consist of approximately 45 images taken from all of the group's regular
members. It is due
to stay on
display
until 2nd
March, so as
you read
this there
should still
be time to
visit.

In October
we were
treated
to a
first-class
display
of
underwater
photography
by Will
and Demelza
Postlethwaite of Perranporth.

Their presentation was interesting and informative. It is obvious that their chosen branch of photography is very difficult and this makes the standard of their work even more remarkable.

November is the regular slot for our annual competition and for 2001 we welcomed Brian Crick of Carbis Bay as judge. There were, as usual, some stunning images on display. Brian's comments were helpful, thoughtful and informative. We would like to thank him for his contribution to this very successful event. Winning and Highly Commended certificates were awarded to: Reg Poad, David Chapman, Adrian Langdon, Dave Thomas, Jeremy Gray, Mary Poad, Margaret Froggatt, Frank Hollinshead, Jacqui Hollinshead and Ed Trathern.
