EDITORIAL

Our focus for autumn is on nature reserves and our efforts to bring wildlife into people's lives. Apart from our own reserves, where we go to great lengths to maximise access and awareness, we are keen to promote the enjoyment of wildlife in churchyards, in school grounds and wherever else it finds refuge.

Sharing these aims is our German twin organisation (see page 16) NABU Lower Saxony, which describes the Trust's reserves as "the crown jewels of nature in Cornwall". We hope members will derive inspiration and insight from our deepening relationship.

The acquisition of this network of special places is something which you, our members, have made happen. We wish you the most pleasant, peaceful and fulfilling of wildlife experiences as you explore them.
