Stations
There are four stations on the Bodmin & Wenford Railway
Bodmin General Station
The restored Great Western Railway station at Bodmin General is the line's headquarters where there is a Buffet and Souvenir Shop. On most days, you can also view locomotives being restored in the Engine Shed.
Colesloggett Halt
Alight from the train at this country halt and enjoy a picnic in the peaceful countryside. A footpath with stiles (muddy in wet weather) leads to Cardinham Woods, where there are nature trails, cycle tracks and refreshments in the Woodland cafe'. (Not suitable for wheelchairs).
Bodmin General Station

Bodmin Parkway Station
Since 1887, this has been the junction with the main line railway. From here, you can enjoy the scenic walk along the carriage drive to the National Trust property of Lanhydrock (entrance fee payable). Approx 45 min walk.
Boscarne Junction
The line to Boscame provides a direct link with the popular Camel Trail' foot and cycle path to Wadebridge and Padstow. You can also walk to the 'Borough Arms' (10 minutes walk). There are no facilities at Boscarne Junction.

Bodmin General is our ONLY station that has car parking facilities for our passengers.

Coming by Train
Main line train services (from London, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth etc and stations in Cornwall) operate to Bodmin Parkway station, which is on the West of England main line between Plymouth and Penzance.
There is easy cross-platform interchange at Bodmin Parkway with Bodmin & Wenford Railway services. Trains from the north arrive at Platform 1, trains from the south at Platform 2, whilst our trains have exclusive use of Platform 3.
Coming on Foot or by Bicycle
- From Exeter, take the A30 west via Okehampton and Launceston to Bodmin
- From Torbay and Plymouth take the A38 west to Bodmin
- From south east Cornwall, including Looe, take the A38 west to Bodmin
- From west Cornwall take the A30 east to Bodmin
- From Fowey, take the B3268 to Bodmin From Newquay, take the A392, then the A30 east to Bodmin
- From north Cornwall, take the A39 to Wadebridge, then the A389 to Bodmin
