  Mount Hawke Skate Park is a converted farm warehouse that receieved a lottery grant and turned itself into probably the best skate-park in Britain. We are located on the outskirts of the village of Mount Hawke, a couple of miles from Porthtowan and St Agnes and approximately 8 miles from the city of Truro.

  Discover skills of the ancient tinner – tin has been produced in this valley for centuries. Follow the mining process from rock to metal. A tin mining valley steeped in history, this is not a museum but a family business. We have a selection of giftware made out of Cornish tin that is won, worked, smelted and cast at Blue Hills Tin Streams.

Both courses are perfect for beginners or the more advanced golfer with friendly advice, and club hire available. It is a great way to experience family fun all together whilst surrounded by breathtaking countryside.

• Perranporth Golf Club

  Superb greens which are hard, fast and absolutely true are a feature of this testing and interesting course, which also drains well and is always playable off normal tees and greens, 365 days a year. A challenge for the low handicap players and yet allows the higher handicap player to return reasonable scores, and there’s always the fantastic scenery of the North Cornwall coastline if the golf is indifferent.
