Grown at 1067m in the Andes foothills this is a ripe well-made wine with intense aromas of red and black fruits.

A full, rounded wine with good fruit on the nose and soft oak complex flavours.

A rich ruby colour with a fruity palate and long length. £9.95

Thomson Old Pumphouse Shiraz. 1999/2000

Ripe plum and berry fruits combine with spicy French oak to give a full palate.

The wine has a soft, lingering finish well balanced by fine tannins. £12.95

Capel Vale Pinot Noir. 1998/99

Classy Pinot characteristics of cherries and wild strawberries. Soft, full palate with fine tannins

make for excellent drinking. Distinct middle palate richness. £15.50

McGuigan Shareholders Cabernet Merlot. 1999

Full-bodied with fine grain tannins, soft acidity and a warm finish. Berry fruit, leather and chocolate flavours dominate,

with some oak derived coconut spice also present. £17.50

 

SOUTH AFRICA

Medium-bodied and full of berry aromas and spicy character. Deep in colour with good fruity

flavours, herbal tones and plummy aftertaste. £9.95

A cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault, this is South Africa’s superb contribution to the
