Traditionally produced, this is Muscadet at its best. A delightfully dry wine and regular

Single estate produced from the Chenin Blanc. A light, fruity medium style with floral and

citrus aromas. Well-balanced with good acidity leaving a trace of honeyed sweetness fading

Châteauneuf-du-Pape A.C. La Tiare. Pierre Dupond. 1997/8

One of the appellations most famous individual vineyards. A robust and tannic wine

regarded as one of the best cuvees. Very deep and intense red colour with a fruity

bouquet and powerful yet generous flavour. A complex lingering delight. £19.90

Valpolicella Classico Superiore. Di Remo Farina. 1998/9

This estate bottled wine is a generous, old-fashioned Italian style. Good fruit and structure.

Full-bodied with fine grain tannins, soft acidity and a warm finish. Berry fruit, leather and chocolate flavours dominate,

Hunter’s Miru Miru. Marlborough, New Zealand. 1997/8

Miru is Maori for bubbles. A classic Champagne blend, it has a trace of ginger on the nose and

a creamy mousse mingling nut and fruit flavours in a vintage fizz of considerable style. £21.50

 

DESSERT WINE

Monbazillac A.C. Chateau Belingrad. 1996/7

This distinguished rich dessert wine has a subtle and elegant flavour and a brilliant

golden colour. Semillon and Muscadelle grapes are harvested at the ‘noble rot’ stage
