Trenython is a Victorian mansion house dating back to 1872 offering you a tranquil haven in which to relax and be pampered. Colonial touches, Italianate detail, Egyptian pillars and ornate oak panelling in the house are preserved reminders of the original grand design.

Hotel Rooms
Each hotel room, with its individual features, is finished with a relaxing and contemporary decor. Every one of our 23 comfortable rooms has en-suite bathroom and Eco Boutique products.
Fitted to a high standard, each room has a flat-screen satellite television and DVD/CD player. You will also find a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, iron & ironing board, and telephone. Some of our Superior hotel rooms boast sea views over St Austell Bay and some have large bay windows or a balcony. Family rooms with bunk beds, some in a separate children’s room, are suitable for families of up to four. Cots are available on request.

Indoors or out, there are numerous leisure activities for you and the family to enjoy at Trenython. Try archery, woodland walking, bird watching, strolling amongst the landscaped gardens, den building or simply staying indoors and relaxing in our leisure spa.
Whatever the time of year, our 12 metre heated indoor swimming pool, spa bath, cedar clad sauna and steam room beckon. These are all open 7 days a week from 7am until 9pm. Under 16s are welcome to use the pool supervised between 9am and 7pm.

At Trenython food and drink is served throughout the day until 9pm, so whatever it is you want and whenever you want it, we are there to satisfy your appetite.
Lunches can be taken in our bar and on the terrace, where ever changing views over St Austell Bay keep your gaze. Homemade soup, sandwiches and salads are on offer as well as the traditional Cornish cream tea with homemade scones. Dinner is served in our restaurant, with daily changing menus ensuring a selection of mouth-watering dishes available on an à la carte basis.

All our dishes are created with flair by chefs who favour the finest, locally produced ingredients where possible. From simple, light choices such as grilled lemon sole to rich and tasty slow braised pork belly, there is always plenty of choice to tempt the palate and an excellent wine list to accompany.
Vegetarians will enjoy a taste of something different with for example, grilled Cornish Halloumi cheese with savoury cous cous and a sun blush tomato and black olive sauce.

Families at Trenython
We welcome all ages to the resort and aim to meet any of your requirements. Family rooms with bunk beds, some in a separate children’s room, are suitable for families of up to four. In the hotel, children’s meals can be ordered at any time of day and our take-away menu can be collected between 6pm-9.30pm every evening.
Across our 25 acres we have plenty of activities to keep everyone, including little ones, occupied including den building, archery, bird watching, a play area, boules and croquet. Our resident giant rabbits provide an endless topic of conversation!
We are just 5 minutes’ drive from Polkerris beach and Par Sands, both family-friendly sandy beaches with parking, cafes and water sports available.
Inside the hotel, our pool welcomes children under 16 supervised by an adult, and is open from 9am-7pm for families. Our complimentary kid’s club is suitable for ages 3 years upwards and during weekends and school holidays there are children’s activities and entertainment - such as movies for different age groups - shown in our cinema room.
