It has a special place in the story of tin mining and some consider it to be the veritable cradle of tinning as part of the site dates back to the Bronze Age. It is the location for the underground scenes in the TV series of Poldark.

One of our experts will be your guide and show you how the tin was processed using the original historic equipment. The mill is still in working order so it is easy to imagine working here in Edwardian times. The museum and the mill are under cover making this a great attraction for a wet day.
