No. 76 Summer 1998 |
| Welcome to the first tabloid issue of
Wild Cornwall. We hope you will approve of the new design
- and of the saving in printing costs, which means we
have more money left for conservation. As always, we look forward to hearing your views on all aspects of our work - the Trust wouldn't exist without you, and your opinions steer our actions. In March, we offered members the chance to participate in a conference to discuss the Trust's development. Too few booked to make the event viable, which suggests that you are happy with the way things are going and that you prefer your involvement in the Trust's work to be through direct action and financial support. Wetland habitats, so essential to the rich environment for which you care so passionately, are our main focus this summer as we link in with The Wildlife Trusts' national Water for Life campaign. You will find good news in the reports on all areas of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust's work, showing that together we really are making a difference. Mark Nicholson COPY DATE for the next issue of
