flora of Cornwall.
Recapping on features of recognition with additional
information on herbal uses,
growing and propagation, plants to attract wildlife etc. New
students

FOX CLUB AND WATCH / ENGLISH NATURE- POND ACTION
Goss Moor National Nature Reserve 2.00pm to 4.00pm
From A30 between Indian Queens and Victoria, take small road
to Tregoss. Carry on straight through village (don't bear left),
over Tregoss Bridge, and through metal gate. SW966602
Proper countryside ponds are few and far hetween these days,
and they need
our help to keep them going. A pond dip on Goss Moor will
reveal the incredible
creatures depending on our pond action for survival.

all part of the web of life being looked after at Bude Marshes.

CONSERVING OUR NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
St Keverne Primary School 7.30pm to 9.00pm
Start of a series of fortniqhtly talks with two field trips.
In these talks, experts will examine different aspects of our
environment: the
weather, geological structure, landscape, farmland and
hedgerow, rivers and seas,
and the attempts being made to conserve this natural heritage.
Lecturers include
officers of the National Trust, English Nature and FWAG. A
further series will
follow next spring. WEA courses are for anyone over 16 years of
age.

GARDENING WITH WILDLIFE
The Monkey Sanctuary, Looe 200pm to 4.00pm
From Liskeard, take A38 to Trerulefoot roundabout then follow

Another chance to meet our friends (humans and other primates)
at Cornwall's
famous woolly monkey sanctuary. This time we will be giving
them a hand with
some wildlife gardening in their grounds. Come suitably dressed
for hard outdoor
