Editorial

Despite new and ongoing crises in the news from around the world, Cornwall Wildlife Trust is in celebratory mood in this issue of Wild Cornwall. We celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Fox Club, our junior section, and rejoice in the active support of many of the county's youngsters and the volunteers from the People and Wildlife Committee, who continue to inspire them. We celebrate the acquisition of Two Burrows, the launch of a new mammal project, the success of the new web site and the generosity of our supporters from Germany, Rudiger Wohlers and his wife Heike. The wild beauty of a place that is particularly special to them, Kemyel Crease nature reserve, is celebrated in sculpture. In fact, the theme of celebration runs right through these pages, though there is also room for sad but appreciative reflection as we celebrate the lives of active members who have died recently.

Finally, you are invited to join us at the increasingly popular annual Discovery Day and to put in your orders for this year's Christmas goodies.
