| Local Area Information: |
There is a well run tourist office in Bude
who will be happy to guide you. This is an area that revels
in it's own variety; excellent surfing, great walks, Sea/Beach/lake/River
fishing, Golf, Wind surfing, Kite surfing, Horse riding, mountain
boarding.
The road out front of Little acre (apart from appearing on National
TV in Advertising campaigns!) is used every year for the down
hill classic skate board event. Widemouth bay beach in front
of the house is the venue for the British junior surfing championships
and the list of local attractions is bewildering in it's scope.
Remains of Arthurian legend, untold wildlife, the Eden project,
numerous Victorian gardens, yacht and dinghy sailing, steam
railways, canals, theme parks, battle reenactments, cottage
craft markets/shops and day cruises to Lundy Island which is
in the centre of the view from Little acre. |
 |
| Directions |
| Little Acre is 100 yds down the coast rd
(marine drive) towards widemouth bay from the manor hotel there
are no other houses on that stretch but we are hidden behind
thick hedge so not visible from road. |
