Jonathan and Trish warmly welcome you to Higher Tresithick Barn, a quality bed and breakfast located in the heart of Cornwall - near Truro, but in the countryside!

We have 8 acres of land with various animals. Walkers and cyclists can get straight onto the footpaths, woodland and bridleways just along the lane from our home. Trelissick Gardens and the King Harry ferry to the Roseland and St Mawes is just a short drive away.

The property is a converted barn in a fantastic countryside location just 3 miles from Truro and 2 miles from Loe Beach which has a great watersports facility such as windsurfing, kyacking, sailing and raft building! We have decided to just offer 1 bedroom, with a bathroom and dining/lounging area.

Where possible, we source breakfast ingredients locally and make the most of some fantastic Cornish produce - sausages and bacon from the village farm shop and free range eggs. We offer a hearty cooked breakfast and also lighter alternatives, including croissants, fresh fruit and various vegetarian options, all served at a time of your choosing.

We are just three miles from the cathedral city of Truro with great restaurants and shopping on offer. We are  ideally situated for Mylor Yacht Harbour, Restronget Creek, Falmouth and it's lovely beaches, Eden, Heligan and the gardens of the South West.

Your bedoom is twin aspect with views out to the main garden and fields. We have ironing facilities and a hairdryer in the room. We have WiFi, double pillow top bed, and we also have a sun terrace where you can relax. We have a pet- and smoke-free house inside, but you are welcome to smoke outside in the garden.

We are ideally situated for exploring both South and North coasts. Local attractions include the world famous Eden Project, Heligan and the gardens of the South west.

We are quite easy to find. Take the Falmouth road from Truro (the A39). When you get to the Carnon Downs Roundabout take the 1st exit which takes you past the Carnon Downs Caravan Park. Proceed past (but do not take) the turning for "King Harry Ferry" and a small red postbox. Take the next left turning which is signposted "Tresithick" with a blue and red no through road sign. Follow the tarmac lane for about a quarter of a mile. Then the lane will fork gently left (Note: do not drive into Tregoose Barton) between 2 granite gateposts, drive between them onto a farm lane. We are the first house (a cream barn conversion) on the left hand side.
