TREVELLA LAKE

Established nearly 30 years ago, Trevella is an ideal water for all anglers, the lake is well stocked with Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach and Rudd. Trevella Lake is plentiful with large Carp; Mirror, Common and Linear are just some of the varieties stocked. The lake record stands at 27 Ib. 12 oz.

SPRINGFIELD LAKE

Constructed sixteen years ago, Springfield has now become a well-established lake. The record weight for Springfield stands at 20 Ib. 4 oz. The lake is mainly stocked with Carp, although there is a small amount of Tench, Roach and Rudd. The fishing is free to all residents staying at Trevella. There are no day tickets to non-residents.

From Trevella you can take a pleasant walk across the fields to the Gannel Estuary (half a mile), which takes you to either Crantock Beach or into Newquay (one and a half miles and via ferryboat at high tide).

At high tide the estuary is good for fishing and ideal for boating and canoeing - at low tide it's a delight for birdwatchers.
