"Mevagissey to Fowey Passenger Ferry The Fowey to Mevagissey passenger ferry runs daily from 25th April through September, weather and sea conditions permitting. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. As well as offering a convenient public transport link between the two towns, it offers a great day out to holidaymakers based on one or other side of St Austell Bay. Both locations are ideal for a day's shopping, exploring and/or walking.

For those staying in the Fowey/Lostwithiel/Looe areas, it offers an ideal way to visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a delightful 45 min walk or a short bus ride from Mevagissey. A return trip costs £10 for adults and £5 for children. Dogs are carried free of charge.

The ferry operates to a regular timetable (available at various outlets in Fowey or Meva, at TICs or on the excellent ferry website - link below).

Any cancellations due to weather are announced on the travel bulletins on BBC Radio Cornwall at 25 and 55 past each hour in the mornings. There is a mobile phone on the boat - 07977 203394.
