DairyLand created
the concept of farm tourism diversification in 1975. Today we are one
of the UK's leading farm attractions with over a million visitors to date.
DairyLand and the farm are still family owned and run, which
is reflected in the atmosphere of traditional family fun and entertainment
enjoyed by visitors of all ages. |

and preserves and hundreds of quality gifts. No visit is complete without
sampling our range of real dairy ice creams - in a variety of delicious
flavours and made here in the Ice Creamery. "Proper ansom," as they
say! "The

of my childhood in the countryside" Mr K. Johnson, Sutton Coldfield. |

| The
Heritage Centre Discover three hundred years of Cornish farming history in this unique and fascinating all-weather facility. Covering all aspects of rural life in the Westcountry, this extraordinary collection of machinery, memorabilia, artifacts, tools and ephemera offers you the chance for a real hands-on experience. |
![]() You'll find more than a few surprises!...gran's washing machine for example or how a pelton wheel gets pressure up. But be careful though - there's so much of interest you might find yourself here all day! |
| Granny was an Athlete! It would take all day for Victorian Granny to do the family wash with tub, dolly or washboard and most of the week to dry and iron it! She also churned butter, beat the rugs and had to fetch heavy pails of water from the pump outside - not a lady to trifle with! |
|
| The Millstream Garden Spend a while in the Millstream Garden at the Heritage Centre, and watch the Victorian working wheels turning every day, horse rounds, corn mills, turbines, hydrams and waterwheels. |
