Situated on the outskirts of Tintagel, but within easy walking distance of the village, Veronica Cottage, with its own large garden, dates back to the 16th Century. There is a footpath close by leading to the 11th Century church, King Arthur’s’ legendary castle and the coastal footpath. Castle Beach, which can also be reached via this footpath, offers safe bathing, whilst the surfer’s paradise of Trebarwith Strand is just 2 miles away.

If you prefer to stay locally, Tintagel offers

plenty of restaurants, pubs and shopping. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, walking the coastal footpath offers an alternative holiday for those looking for peace and tranquillity. If you wish to travel further afield, cycling on the Camel Trail, the pretty fishing harbour town of Padstow, Bude with its sandy beaches and the Eden Project are all within easy driving distance or there are bus services during the summer months to any of these attractions.

Accommodation

Ground Floor

Lounge / Dining Room – large, open beamed room furnished to a high standard, with a bay window seat overlooking the garden. There is a TV, video and also a selection of books, magazines and games.

Kitchen – fully fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine, fan oven and ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

Bathroom – Built in shower cubicle with electric shower, hand basin and toilet.

First Floor

Bedroom 1 – Beamed spacious double bedroom overlooking the front garden, complete with built in wardrobes and en-suite bathroom which comprises of shower, toilet and basin. There is plenty of room for a cot which is available on request.

Bedroom 2 – Bright and cosy double bedroom with built in wardrobe and hand basin.

Bedroom 3 – Single bedroom situated on the ground floor. Complete with built in wardrobe and access to downstairs bathroom.

Veronica Cottage offers traditional charm with modern comforts and is ideal for the discerning holiday maker. The cottage offers full central heating and hot water at no extra cost. All bedding and bed linen is provided. Visitors will need to provide their own towels and tea towels. For those warm, summer evenings, patio furniture is provided to enjoy your al fresco meal.

There is off road parking for one car and further parking available if required. The cottage is a non-smoking establishment. Also pets are not accepted but there are excellent kennels nearby - details on request.

Bookings run from Friday to Friday and short breaks of 3 or 4 days are available out of season on request.
