Location
St Ives is a lovely town to explore - full of charming narrow little streets and alleys which house an abundance of interesting shops, galleries and cafés. The restaurants are excellent and some are set in really fantastic locations with gorgeous views. To sit at the Porthminster beach café eating really delicious food and looking across brilliant blue green sea is difficult to beat wherever you are in the world!
West Penwith is a great area both inland and on the coast. There are masses of beaches and coves - some very easy to reach, others hardly known and requiring a bit of an effort to get to. The coastal path is rugged and very beautiful with fantastic westerly skies and equally wonderful are the inland moors with their ancient standing stones and quoits.
