What
You Can Expect From Us And How We See Ourselves
Well this is the section where our advertising
could make or break us but here goes. |
| We see ourselves
as a more traditional style guest house which
is important to us as we wanted to work with
the period of the property which is Edwardian
and was built in 1906. A touch of Edwardian
has been added here and there, so we are not
modern / funky or contemporary and do not
choose or try to be. By saying this Andy
and I are far from old fashioned in our ways
and attitude and we are very proud and happy
with the atmosphere that we have created here
at White Waves. |
| We are very much
part of the St Ives community where Andy was
born and feel this reflects in our attitude
/ pride and support of St Ives and it's community. |
| Our recommendations
of where to eat and places to see will reflect
our being part of St Ives and its community. |
| So we like to
think that staying with us will help give
you a taste of the real St Ives and its people. |

| Information about St Ives |
St
Ives Has To Stay Like This
Why do you come to St Ives? You come for it's
quaint feel. That feeling of times past and
to stroll along the harbour and it's cobbled
street to soak up the feeling of community
and amble around the little individual shops
owned by local people. Something that is slowly
disappearing from many of our UK towns now. |
| This is what
makes St Ives special and why so many of you
want to visit. |
| We feel passionate
about keeping St Ives like this and try and
support local businesses and shops when sourcing
ingredients for your breakfasts as much as
possible. |
| These local business
we feel supply much higher quality and tastier
produce for you to eat and we are very proud
of this and would not have it any other way
but this does cost us more and ask you to
consider this and our commitment to keeping
St Ives the way it is when you are comparing
us with others. |
| When staying
with us you can be happy in the thought that
you too are doing your bit in keeping St Ives
just the way it is. |
