Charlestown is a working port south of St Austell which has been used as a filming location for historic ports and is home to the Shipwreck, Rescue & Heritage Centre. The fishing village of Mevagissey and the port of Fowey are close by.

Charlestown Shipwreck & Heritage Centre
Located in a historic china clay building, we offer visitors an insight into the history of Charlestown and shipwrecks. We have the largest exhibition of artifacts recovered by divers, on public display in the UK.

A totally different day out - 26 acres of fun and pleasure - Historic trail, nature trail, exhibitions, audio and visual show, children's trail and play area, pottery, picnic areas, coffee shop and gift shop - Dogs on leads welcome.
Cycling in Cornwall
