| WELCOME TO ANNET |
| Self Catering Cottage - St
Issey nr Padstow, North Cornwall |
| Annet is a gorgeous Cornish cottage, full of character,
located in the centre of the village of St Issey, just 3 miles from
Padstow. The cottage is situated directly opposite and across the
road from the fourteenth century church. It is built from Cornish
slate with exposed beams, some exposed slate walls and an original
Cornish slate floor to the kitchen area. There is a large living room
with comfy sofas for cosy nights in and a separate dining room with
views over the back garden to the fields behind. There are two bedrooms
upstairs. The cottage has been extensively refurbished to the highest
standard, so it has a modern feel within a character cottage. |

 |
| The kitchen is new with all mod -cons. It has everything
you would expect, including a microwave and stylish stainless steel
cooker, fridge, a dishwasher and a washing machine. |
| The living room seats five comfortably and has
a colour television with freeview satellite channels, DVD player and
a CD/radio/cassette stereo, with a selection of DVDs for your entertainment.
|
| There are two bedrooms and the cottage sleeps 4.
The main bedroom has a lovely feel to it with an exposed slate wall,
original stripped pine floorboards with scatter rugs and a beautiful
outlook onto the churchyard. There is a double bed, wardrobe, drawers,
bedside cabinet with lamps, a clock radio and hair dryer. |
| Bedroom two has twin beds and a chest of drawers
with bedside cabinet and bedside lamp. |
| The bathroom has a bath, with Mira shower over.
The boiler is a combination boiler, which means there is always hot
water no matter how many people want a bath or shower! |
| All gas and electric costs are included in the
price of your holiday, so there's no annoying meter to keep topping
up! |
| There is a large garden to the rear, which is mainly
laid to lawn, with flower borders. |
|
|
 |
|
 |
|
 |
| There is a public footpath to the side of the property
which you can follow down to the Camel Trail, a 27 mile trail for
walkers and cyclists that follows a disused railway line from Padstow,
through Wadebridge and Bodmin, to Dunmere and Poley's Bridge. |
| Padstow is a peaceful 45 minute walk from the cottage
and Wadebridge is a couple of hours away on foot. It's obviously a
lot quicker on a bicycle! Bring your own or hire bikes in Padstow
or Wadebridge. |
