1. Do you sell used as well as new caravans? Yes, we always try to maintain a selection of quality used models at very competitive prices. Prices for used holiday caravans often start from as little as £4,000. The range of models available does vary throughout the year but the enclosed list will detail those available now. 2. Do all the holiday caravans have hot and cold water, wc's, showers and electricity? Yes, they are all connected to main's electricity, water and drainage and enjoy all the comforts of home - separate shower/bath rooms, separate bedrooms, comfortable fitted lounges with heating and space for domestic fridges, colour television, etc. You will be amazed at the comforts a modern holiday caravan can offer. 3. If we buy a holiday caravan - what about all the extras? The prices quoted at Par Sands Holiday Park include the caravan, delivery, vat and connection to the pitch of your choice. There are no hidden charges for base premiums, connections, a lease, etc. The only additions you will require are a television aerial, steps of your choice and gas bottles, if you do not already have them. Please compare our prices with other Parks; we are confident you will not find better value anywhere. 4. What are the annual charges? You will find a complete list of the annual charges and times of years they become payable included. There are no hidden extras, as holiday caravan owners you and your family have free access to the indoor heated swimming pool. 5. How many months of the year can I use my holiday caravan? The Park opens on April 1st each year or Good Friday if earlier and it closes on the 31st October. You are welcome to visit the Park at any time during the winter months but unfortunately our site licence prevents you from staying overnight. 6. How long can my holiday caravan stay on your site? As we are members of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association you receive all the protection of an agreement conforming to the nationally accepted code of practice. 7. Can you offer finance on the purchase of a caravan holiday home? Yes, subject to status, finance is available on all new holiday caravans and used models up to seven years old at very competitive terms. 8. Would I have to pay Council Tax? No, holiday caravans are rated as non-domestic premises and the charge at present is £191.00 per caravan per year as shown on the enclosed list of annual charges. 9. Can I let my holiday home if I want to? Of course, it can be a profitable aspect of owning a holiday caravan. You are entitled to let out your holiday caravan and operate the letting yourself or, if you wish, we can let the caravan on your behalf by joining our agency. For details of how the agency scheme works please contact us; you will be surprised that by letting out your caravan for as little as five weeks in the summer you could cover your annual charges. 10. What are the extra charges if I let my holiday caravan? If you decide to let your caravan, then you require a letting licence that is renewed annually at the present charge of £100.00 plus vat. 11. What about insurance cover for my holiday home? You are welcome to join our block policy under the Compass Insurance Scheme which is tailored specially for holiday caravans . 12. Do you accept dogs on the Park? Yes, but we do insist on them being kept on a lead and exercised off the Park. Par Sands is one of the few Cornish beaches that still permit dogs in the summer months. 13. Can it really be this simple to own a holiday home by the sea? Quite honestly yes, but if there are further questions you would like to ask please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to advise you on your choice of caravan holiday home. Often we have access to special deals on new models or can trace a suitable used holiday home through our trade connections. You can be confident we will always try to get the best possible deal for you.
