FACILITIES AT TREGATILLIAN

The Park is set in the beautiful Cornish countryside, tucked away from the busy world yet within such easy reach of all parts of Cornwall. The Park caters for families and couples, providing relaxed peaceful holidays in a high standard of accommodation. There is ample space between the holiday caravan homes with car parking adjacent to your caravan. Beyond the caravans is an open play area with a soft ball / badminton court, swings, slide and climbing frame. |

The grounds are well maintained, and the Park has been run by the same family for over thirty years, so we have plenty of experience! It is lovely to see many friends come back to Tregatillian each year and it is also a pleasure to welcome new holidaymakers to the Park. For children who would rather entertain themselves, there is a games room with table tennis, pool table and other amusements. There is also a laundrette in the same building, which has washing machines, drier and ironing facilities |

All prices include VAT @ 17.5% where applicable. 10% Discount during low season if four or less people occupy a caravan. There is no extra charge for gas and electricity.
All caravan holiday homes have separate bathrooms with shower, wash basin and W.C. with hot and cold water and at least two separate bedrooms. They will accommodate up to six people. All have colour TV, room heater, full size cooker and full size fridge. All categories of caravan are awarded the English Tourist Board Rose Award. Dogs are welcome on the Park and there is a separate field where they can be exercised. They are allowed in caravan category B1, the remaining categories are kept free of pets for the benefit of those who may be allergic to pets. The caravans are well equipped having all the crockery, cutlery and utensils that you should need. Blankets and pillows are provided but please bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. |

Within a few miles of Tregatillian are superb beaches for swimming and surfing, the nearest being Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay which is shown below. It takes about fifteen minutes by car and there is parking by the beaches. There are many others to explore along the beautiful coast between Newquay and Padstow. Surf
and boogie boards can be hired at many beaches so why not have a

Horse riding is available within a few miles of the Park where both beginners and the more experienced are catered for. There are a number of delightful walks from the Park, including one for the more energetic following the valley to the sea at Mawgan Porth via St.Mawgan where there is an attractive pub with a garden where you can rest and refresh yourself. Why not walk the coastal path enjoying the breathtaking scenery and as the path winds down to little coves, rest a while, and absorb the magic of Cornwall. |

Nearby Newquay offers many facilities including an indoor fun pool and swimming pool, squash, tennis, golf, bowls and a boating lake. In the evening there are many good pubs and restaurants to try and Newquay comes alive with discos, etc. There are many attractions throughout Cornwall, both historical, such as the beautiful National Trust properties, or just good fun, such as the Leisure and Theme Parks. There is something for everyone and all within easy reach of Tregatillian. You can travel to any part of Cornwall by car from Tregatillian within about an hour and a half. |

Tregatillian Holiday Park is slightly inland from the beautiful North Cornish coast with it's romantic scenery and many unspoilt golden sandy beaches. We are about seven miles from the lively town of Newquay and about five miles from the lovely Mawgan Porth beach, both about fifteen minutes by car. The nearest town is St.Columb Major, about one mile from the Park, a pleasant walk or brief journey by car. Here you will find a good selection of shops, pubs serving meals, café, garages, medical facilities etc. Main supermarkets are only about 10 minutes away at Wadebridge and Newquay. Alternatively why not FLY to NEWQUAY AIRPORT where you can pick up a hire car and make the short drive to Tregatillian Holiday Park. You can fly to Newquay airport from LONDON GATWICK, DUBLIN, MANCHESTER, LEEDS BRADFORD OR BRISTOL with Air Southwest www.airsouthwest.com or from STANSTEAD with Ryanair www.ryanair.com Car hire is available at Newquay airport with Europcar tel 01872 266300. An ideal way to come to Cornwall for your holiday or just a short break in the quieter part of the season. Tregatillian is ideally situated for sightseeing with all parts of Cornwall easily visited on a day's outing. |
