| Sun Haven Valley is set in scenic countryside
on one of the quieter stretches of the North Cornish coast. Surrounded
by farmland we are just a 10-minute woodland walk from the large sandy
beach at Mawgan Porth and its beachside facilities – shops, café,
take-away, restaurant and public house – without having them on the
doorstep or needing to use a car. |
| We are confident that the peace of the countryside
and our family-run five star park will give you a relaxing and restful
holiday. As a park for family holidays we have no club and no restaurant
but offer a play area, TV room and games room and our regular visitors
appreciate the strict policy of 'no noise after 10.30pm'. We have
an Internet access computer. |
| For your accommodation you can choose from our
luxurious static caravans, our doubly spacious chalet bungalows or
‘”bring your own” to our streamside camping & touring site. |

Toilets, Washrooms & Showers
Our award winning toilets and washrooms are supplied with
an abundance of FREE hot water to the showers, washbasins
and washing up sinks. |

TV Lounge and Games Room
In a large Swedish Style chalet built specifically for
the purpose with Colour TV watched from cinema style seating
in one half and Pool Table and Arcade Machines in the
other. |

Children's Adventure Play Area
A great facility to absorb excess energy situated centrally
and away from the tarmac roads. The adventure playground
features bridges, beam, ladder, swings, and other play
equipment. Safe and great fun. |

Campsite
Our campsite includes FREE hot water to the showers, surfer's
shower, washing-up area & food preparation area. We have
an icepack freezer with loan ice-packs plus (at small
charge) public access microwaves & pizza/chips/baked potato
oven, hairdryers, 240v plugs in the bathroom, laundry
& private bathrooms. |
Computers & Internet
We have a public access internet station in reception,
wireless internet hotspots on site and are currently installing
internet pc's in the games room. |

| Local Facilities & Activities |
| 8 miles from Padstow and 5 miles from Newquay,
we are at the boundary of "North" & "West" Cornwall - a 'central'
base, ideal for touring and just a short drive from Cornwalls many
attractions - The Eden Project is 18 miles away, Tintagel 25 miles,
Bodmin Moor 21 miles, and the National Maritime Museum in the world’s
third largest natural harbour (at Falmouth) 30 miles. More locally
we are just a mile from the well-known,but somewhat busier, Watergate
Bay . |
| For local activities we are adjacent to a coarse
fishing lake and overlooked by the third tee of Merlin golf club;
other local pursuits include horse-riding, walking, surfing (including
schools), power kite flying and kite surfing, fishing (sea, coarse
and game), cycling, cliff climbing, abseiling and boat trips. |
