Our Location
We are ideally situated in mid Cornwall, in the countryside, yet only 3 miles from a large sandy beach, and six and a half miles from the main arterial routes to explore the whole of Cornwall.
One mile from the entrance to the Eden Project, we have many visitors "off the road" who have been to Eden for the day, and then return to us time and time again.
Places to Visit
Charlestown
Nearby Charlestown has a small fleet of tall ships, including Kaskelot. One or two of these can often be found at anchor in the harbour, and are frequently open for tours during the summer months. Attractions are the architecture, the sea, and the Charlestown Shipwreck, Rescue and Heritage Centre. Only 4 miles from the Park.
Mevagissey
Originally a fishing port for pilchards, still has a thriving fishing industry. Narrow cobbled streets, quaint fishermen's cottages, trips around the bay and a ferry to the yachting haven of Fowey, make a trip to Mevagissey a must. Just 7 miles from the Park.
Lanhydrock House and Gardens
A Magnificent late Victorian country house with extensive servants' quarters, gardens and wooded estate is approximately 5 miles from the Park. There is a stunning 17th century gatehouse, long gallery, 19th century upstairs/downstairs experience, wonderful gardens and an adventure playground for the children.
These are just a few of the wonderful places to visit, all within easy reach of the Park.
