PARADISE GARDENS
It is worth visiting Paradise Park just to see our thoughtfully developed Victorian walled gardens with sub-tropical plants, gazebos and a procession of rose and clematis arches. Unusual passion flowers and exotic butterflies can be seen in the Tropical House. We are participants in the National Garden Scheme Open Day for charity.
Giant rhubarb, tree ferns and bamboo feature in 'Parrot Jungle'.

INFORMATION
Free entry to our wildlife themed gift shop for souvenirs, books and film. Visit our cafe for local pasties, light lunches, cream teas etc. Mini train rides in summer season.

OPENING HOURS
We open every day of the year at l0am.

Last entries: Gates close:
May to September 5pm 7pm
Rest of year 4pm 6pm or dusk

Dozens of the brightest lorikeets flock to feed on nectar - another chance to get close to friendly birds.

PENGUIN FEEDING

We choose a few lucky young helpers at each of our feeding sessions. Will you get an 'Assistant Penguin Keepers' badge?
