| Round and About |
| Just over two miles from School Cottage lies the picturesque medieval fishing port of Padstow. The unspoilt town has many pubs and restaurants nestled in it warren of narrow streets and alleys, including Rick Stein's famous 'Seafood Restaurant'. There is a cinema and many attractions including sailing, tennis, horse riding, deep sea fishing, speed boat rides, bicycle hire and wind surfing. The golden sands of Harlyn bay are close by and this beach is one of the safest for children. There are also 6 other bays within a 5 mile radius. The golf club at Trevose head has three courses, a championship 18, a short and a long 9 hole course. The numerous cliff walks and panoramic views around this area are truly magnificent. |
