Bedroom A light and airy spacious bedroom (King size bed) with twin aspect views overlooking our field. French doors open directly onto the large York flagstone patio area. Antique French provencal armoire, old pitch pine flooring, old pine door and antique washbasin make this room particularly appealing. This bedroom can accommodate a Z bed suitable for a child enabling 5 people to occupy the cottage. |
| Twin Bedroom The second bedroom to the cottage is again light and airy, with two good sized single beds, antique washbasin, tea and coffee tray, old pitch pine flooring and old door and an antique cloakroom rack to hang clothes on. |  |
 | Bathroom Open the old Victorian vestibule door to find old shutters at the window and a Balinese mirror with doors, this room offers guests the choice of either soaking in a bath or taking a shower in a separate area of the room. A selection of bathtime treats is provided . |
| Sitting Room Originally the Stables this room boasts the original beamed ceiling. A large and exceptionally light room with French doors leading directly onto the patio area. Comfortable sofa and two large armchairs to curl up on and watch television or a DVD (selection provided for guests to view), in front of the old stone fireplace, home to the woodburner. |  |
 | Kitchen Next to the sitting room is the kitchen area which is well equiped with large Bosch fridge/freezer, microwave, foodmixer, blender, electric oven, fully integrated washing machine and dishwasher, antique pine dining table and good quality cutlery and crockery. |
| Dining Area The dining area of the beamed former stables has an antique pine table with four comfortable wooden chairs with pale blue cushion pads to sit on. Alternatively guests may wish to take their meals 'al fresco' at the teak table and chairs on the York flagstone patio offering an exceptionally peaceful setting overlooking our two acre field. A portable barbeque is provided. |  |
 | Patio From both the double bedroom and the sitting room French doors open directly onto the large York flagstone patio area which is not only a suntrap but a wonderful place to take breakfast or dinner or to have a drink. |
| Prices Weekly Rental Rates from £485.00
to £1250.00 fully inclusive of all linen and towels, first basket
of logs, all energy usage, peak season includes mid week cleaning
services and a complimentary breakfast box. |
| Directions Bypass Wadebridge, continue on the A39 until you see a turning on the right hand side of the road marked A389 to St. Issey, Little Petherick, Padstow. Take this right turning which will lead you to the village. Upon reaching the village, go over the hump bridge with the Old Mill House on your left continue driving a for a few hundred yards passing several cottages on the left side of the road, the last of which is a white washed cottage distinctive by it's blue painted window frames. The white washed cottage sits at the entrance to an unmarked lane which leads to Ballaminers House and Stable Cottage. Turn left up here and proceed with caution as farm vehicles use this lane for access to fields. Ballaminers House is the second house on the right ( the first being Ballaminers Cottage - an entirely seperate property) clearly marked by a slate sign on the garden wall. Ballaminers Farm on the other side of our drive is entirely a separate property.. |  |
