Crantock Village
Penpol Farm is situated just under half a mile from the historical Crantock village, which has a post office, convenience store, restaurant, tea gardens, three pubs, a church and chapel along with art and craft shops.

The village with its green, quaint thatched cottages and peaceful atmosphere has many interesting walks. Large areas of the parish are in the ownership of the National Trust, including the beach, car park and the delightful cove known as Porth Joke or Polly Joke. The Round Orchard in the centre of the village may have been the site of an ancient Celtic chapel.

Crantock Beach
Crantock Beach is approximately 400 metres walking distance via Penpol Woods. It is a wide golden-sand beach which stretches out between the headlands of East and West Pentire. Along its northern edge is the tidal estuary known as the Gannel, which extends inland for about one mile. The beach is backed at it's northeast side by an impressive range of dunes which rise steeply before opening out into a grassy space known as the Rushy Green. The beach is backed at the southwest end by steep cliffs and although there can be tidal currents around the estuary, Crantock Beach offers a number of shallow waters and there are numerous rock pools and caves to explore. The beach is ideal for families looking for a peaceful and tranquil place to relax.

Nearby Attractions
The Eden Project is approximately a 30 minute drive and the cathedral city of Truro is a 20 minute drive away.

Travel Information
Crantock is only 20 mins from Newquay Airport where there are daily flights from London's Stansted airport with Ryanair or Gatwick with Air South West. Its only 12 miles from the A30 and has daily direct links via rail from Paddington.
