Trenance is now a relaxing retreat and the perfect
base for exploring the unique and magical Lizard Peninsular, an
area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The old farm buildings are converted into extremely comfortable, well-equiped cottages, set in mature gardens, about 1/2 mile from Mullion Village and Mullion Cove. The Lizard Peninsula is superb walking country and in less than 5 minutes you can walk across the fields to the South West coastal path where breath-taking views await you. |

You will love our swimming pool. It is open from
late May to the beginning of September and is heated to between
75 - 80 Fahrenheit. To keep children entertained we have a safe play area with swing and two games rooms, one with a 6ft snooker table, the other with full size table tennis. There is lots of tourist information and advice on 'where to go' and 'what to do' displayed in the games rooms. Or you can enjoy ball games and kite flying in our field where rabbits, and sometimes a fox, can be seen, and sometimes Badgers on a moonlit night. | Self Catering Holiday Cottages | |||||||||||||

Our cottages are 3 to 4 Star, sleeping from 1 to 6 people and are
inspected annually for quality grading. They are fully self-contained
and extremely well equipped for all your needs, a real home from
home, with freeview colour TV. Our kitchens have fridge/freezers,
electric cookers and microwave, plus all the other necessities. The bathrooms have showers over the bath, shaver points, heated towel rails and a wall heater. Our comfortable beds with plumped up pillows and a cosy duvet ensure a good nights rest. Ben linen is complimentary. |

| The Farmhouse Wing and Smithy cottages
all have 3 bedrooms to sleep six. The Barn and Byre cottages all have 3 bedrooms to sleep five. The Dairy, Sty, Stable Loft, Gweal and Forge cottages have two bedrooms to sleep four. Wheal Dream and The Smokehouse have one double bedroom to sleep 2. Barn, Stable, loft, Sty & Dairy cottages all have king size double beds. Both the Barn and Byre cottages have back doors leading out to a sheltered paddock. All the cottages have their own garden area with bench(s) and table. The Barn has an open tread staircase to the bedrooms. The Forge has a back door to its garden, whilst The Gweal's garden is on a terrace. The Smokehouse is a cosy one double bedroom 4 star cottage with a fully equipped kitchen (cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster etc). The kitchen and sitting room area is open planed with sofa, colour free view TV, table and chairs. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it, wash hand basin and toilet. Wheal Dream, a romantic hideaway, is also an exceptionally well-appointed double room ensuite with bath and shower. Entered through second courtyard full of plants and flowers there is a table and chairs for your own use. Wheal Dream is been refurbished this winter to a very high standard to sleep 2 people. Wheal Dream will be ready next March and is our only accommodation where pets are not permitted. • Travel Cots and high chairs are available free of charge, but please bring your own bedding. • Portable BBQ's are available. • FREE electricity, heating & bed linen. • Towels for hire @ £3.00 per person. • Laundry room with automatic washing machines and tumble driers. Mullion is a thriving village, just 1/2 mile away, with grocers,
chemist, Post Office, garage and doctors surgery. In fact, all you
need for your holiday can be found here. There are restaurants,
two pubs, also an art gallery and craft centre where mouth-watering
chocolates are made. The coastline, mostly National Trust owned, is truly magnificent, with small sandy swimming/surfing coves and rugged cliffs adorned with wonderful rare plants and flowers. Excellent walking country. Cornwall is the perfect place for 'sub-tropical' plants and there are more than 70 beautiful gardens to visit, some open occasionally, others open all the year round. The Eden Project is well worth a visit also nearby Trebah, Trevarno and Bonython to name a few. |
