Trevowhan is a small hamlet that lies on one of the most spectacular stretches of coast in Cornwall. The Stable at Trevowhan is a traditional small Cornish barn which is an independent part of a very private and peaceful complex of granite buildings that are lived in by the owners. The Stable has been tastefully converted and is ideal for 2 people. There is off-road parking alongside the accommodation. Trevowhan is on the north coast of the Land's End Peninsula and is approximately five miles from Penzance and about ten miles from St Ives. The Stable
Lounge Kitchen
The Stable has a spacious, open-plan interior with exposed beams and pine floors. There is a small, cosy mezzanine that has two single beds. The mezzanine is reached by secure stairs. There is a sofa-bed on the ground floor, where the kitchen and separate shower room and toilet are located. West-facing windows and a large south-facing window make the interior of the Stable very bright and well-lit. The Stable is fully furnished and has storage heaters. There is a fridge, microwave, TV and DVD and a radio/CD player. The property is a no smoking area. With regret, visitors' pets cannot be accommodated.

Along the south wall of the Stable there is a small private area with a picnic table and seating and with open fields rising in front of it. You may find the occasional cow checking you out from beyond the hedge...
Bedroom Area
There are open fields and moorland hills behind the Stable. Much of the coast and some of the moorland is owned by the National Trust. Nearby features include the great headlands of Gurnard's Head, Bosigran and Zennor. The entire area is a paradise for walkers, birdwatchers, botanists, geologists and photographers. The Cornwall Coastal Footpath is reached within minutes of Trevowhan and the surrounding area is unbeatable for its coastal and moorland walking through landscapes that are crammed with ancient monuments and the dramatic relics of 19th century tin and copper mining. West Cornwall's major attractions, such as St Michael's Mount, the Tate Gallery, St Ives, the Minack Theatre and the Geevor Tin Mining Museum, are all a short drive away.
The owners of the property have extensive knowledge of local footpaths and byways and can provide detailed descriptions of walking routes, if required by guests. They can advise on horse riding, surfing, rock-climbing, archaeology, Art and Craft galleries and all visitor-related matters.
