Denham House is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday or short break and is the ideal base for surfers, walkers, cyclists and golfers. With such local attractions as The Eden Project, Lands End, The Minack Theatre and the jewel in Cornwall's crown - St Michael's Mount right on the doorstep.

This far west is blessed with one of the mildest climates in the country.  The first spring daffodils are picked on the Isles of Scilly each year.  Here we are also steeped in history, from shipwrecks and sunken treasure to ancient monuments and amazing historic buildings.  Rugged cliffs, coves and caves are all around  and tales of mystery of the lost 'Land of Lyonnesse'  A visit to this part of Cornwall will stay with you forever.

Brand new, light airy and spacious , the centre piece of this room is the antique french super king bed.  Travertine floor with wool rugs and underfloor heating throughout. Two tub chairs to relax and watch TV with freeview.  Table and chairs provided within the room for that more self contained feel for when your continental breakfast arrives outside your door at 8am every morning.  A fridge is provided to chill your milk or wine!

The ensuite has a walk in shower and a whirlpool bath.

Open the french doors and sit outside and relax as you watch the sun set.

Marazion is one of Cornwall's oldest  market towns and was once a thriving trading port with merchandise coming from all over the world to St Michael's Mount's harbour.

Before that The Castle was on a hill and Mounts Bay was a dense woodland.  The last wolf of the country was believed to have died in this woodland!  Stumps of the trees can be seen at low tide even today.

Modern day Marazion offers beautiful safe sandy beaches with lifeguard patrols and safe swimming for children.  It is the gateway to the National Trust 'castle atop a rocky crag' where you can walk across the causeway at low tide to St Michael's Mount and test your sea legs when the tide come in with one of the local ferry boats.   Climb to the top to the castle and take in the breath taking view of the bay and back towards Marazion.

With its handful of shops, galleries and cafes Marazion is a perfect place for a relaxing,  intimate short break or holiday.  A short stroll from Denham House of an evening and you can sample the selection of pubs and restaurants some with incredible Mount views and watch the sun go down over supper!
