Six self catering holiday cottages
near Looe &
Polperro, Cornwall |
|
|
| Welcome to Cartole Cottages. Whether
your holiday is about walking, cycling, fishing, sailing,
getting close to nature, relaxing on a beach, taking
in the sites or just getting away from the hustle and
bustle, we are perfectly situated to make your next
holiday just right for you. |
| Nestled in the heart of the beautiful
Cornish countryside you will find our six charming holiday
cottages. Set in large open grounds Cartole Cottages
is the perfect location for those who enjoy the peaceful
surroundings of the countryside, yet the bustling port
of Looe and the picture postcard fishing village of
Polperro are just ten minutes drive away. |
| On site we have a Hot Tub, housed
in its own cedar wood cabin and an Infra Red Sauna.
A well-equipped Children's Play area with play tower,
football goal and trampoline is sited away from the
cottages. There is a field walk ideal for exercising
your dog or for that romantic evening stroll. Well behaved
dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Guests may use
a local swimming pool situated approximately 3 miles
away (charge applies). |
|
|
| Cartole Cottages are centrally located
for easy exploration of Cornwall and Devon, the Lost
Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and many National
Trust properties. Cornwall is the home county of novelist
Rosamunde Pilcher. Cartole is also an ideal base for
walking the coastal path. |
| We are open all year round and offer
week long breaks starting Friday and Saturday. Short
breaks and flexible start dates are available outside
school holidays. |
|
|
| We are for those who appreciate
the countryside and its wildlife; from the cattle and
sheep grazing over the garden fence, the buzzards, songbirds
and regular evening visits by the owls, to the nocturnal
ramblings of the hedgehogs, badgers and foxes. It's
all here to be seen - if you have the patience. |
|
|
| We have one three-bedroom cottage,
four two-bedroom cottages and a one bedroom cottage.
They are set in large open plan gardens with outside
seating areas, BBQ's and a Chimnea and provide a safe
environment for children to play. |
|
|
| All our cottages are heated, either
by electric heating or central heating, which is on
from mid September to mid May. Cots and high chairs
can be provided on request. |
