Centrally located for exploring Cornwall and Devon, we are for those who appreciate the countryside and its wildlife; cattle and sheep grazing over the fence, buzzards, songbirds and regular evening visits by the owls, hedgehogs, badgers and foxes, its all here to be seen - if you have the patience.
 
The cottages were converted from the barns of Cartole Farm and as many of the original features have been left intact, each cottage has a shape and identity entirely its own. This, with beamed ceilings and some walls of exposed original stonework, combine with our comfortable furnishings and many homely little additions, to make a holiday home full of character. All our cottages have fitted carpets throughout and are fully heated either by storage heaters or central heating, which is on from mid September to mid May.
