All the bedrooms are spacious and individually decorated to a high standard with soft carpets, and easy chairs and all have remote control televisions.  Each room has ensuites with bath & shower/WC (except one which has shower/WC),  quality towels, tea/coffee making tray, direct dial telephone, radio alarm, fresh fruit, mineral water and biscuits daily. 

All rooms have views over the gardens. We ask guests not to smoke in the bedrooms, lounge and dining room.

Elsie, Cecil, Bernice & Paul Studley have enjoyed welcoming guests to Aviary Court Hotel for over 20 years, many of whom return again and again to take their holiday or for business.

Aviary Court is a delightful six bedroom hotel which has been given a VisitBritain 2 Star Country House Hotel award, so although fairly small, you can expect quality service and personal attention from the Studley family.

The hotel is situated five minutes drive from the A30 and five minutes drive from the North coast harbour village of  Portreath.  Tucked away in a quiet woodside location, parts of the house date back some 300 years being the former home of James Tangye, mining engineer.  Guests are encouraged to stroll around and use the 2.25 acres of well tended gardens. There is a twenty minute bridleway walk through the woods to Portreath village and its working harbour and popular sandy surfing beach.

We are open all year.  Winter visits in Cornwall can be wonderful with quiet touring conditions on the roads, winter sunshine, bracing walks and many of the attractions of Cornwall are still open.  Return to the hotel for a quiet, evening with a delicious meal in our dining room. Our rooms are heated with each room individually controlled by the guest. 

We have recently built an all weather tennis court so make sure you come equipped!  Table Tennis is available as well.
