Around
LooeA short drive away to the west of West Kellow Farm is Lansallos with it's secluded bay reached by a footpath; this was the setting for part of the 'Poldark" series. Join the famous coastal path, ramble amidst the gorse and heather and admire the rugged coast line. |

| Alternatively, discover the spectacular
bays of Lantivet and Lantic either side of Pencarrow Head. Fowey, once
one of the foremost ports of medieval England and, more recently, made
famous by Daphne Du Maurier, is only 4 miles west via the Bodinnick Car
Ferry. To the east you can explore the rugged beach at Talland Bay. Further along the coast you will find the famous fishing port of Looe. From the quay you can watch the fishing boats unload their catch. Children can enjoy the safe, sandy beach. Take
a speed boat ride from the banjo pier or a self-drive boat up the Looe
River where you can see swans and other wildlife. Children will love to
go crab fishing off the quay or for those with sturdy sea legs, mackerel
fishing out to sea. There are many other attractions nearby to suit everyone and all of Comwall is within easy travelling distance including the internationally famous Eden Project which is now fully open. |
