Three
Gold and two Silver medals meant we are a successful sailing nation
and this accounted for 30% of Britain’s total Gold medals won. The
TV coverage by the Australians was excellent, showing that sailing
races can make for exciting television. Whilst visiting Cornwall learning
to sail is a must! We look forward to introducing as many of you as
possible to our sport during this exciting new season.
Past visitors to Mylor Yacht
Harbour will be amazed at the big changes happened and happening around
us, for example our new Marina and facilities also a yacht chandlery
which stocks a wide variety of watersports gear/equipment, and can
cater for all your rigging needs. After being out on the water, there
is now a choice of three places to eat. The yacht Harbour will also
be offering self-catering apartments for anyone who wants to enjoy
the peacefulness and tranquility of our local area as Mylor really
does stand out as an ideal spot for a sailing holiday. |
After
a great last season we have now expanded our fleet and have some Laser
2000 asymmetric boats for those seeking a faster ride. For the beginners
and people who just love to be on the water relaxing, we have Laser
16s and Wayfarers on offer. Again we will continue to do what we do
best, by offering you the best sailing and powerboat tuition within
the area.
Craig Brown our Centre Principal will be pleased to introduce you
to our new highly experienced and qualified instructors, all familiar
with local waters.
