For those
interested in walking and bird watching the coastal footpath will
take you to the fishing village of Porthallow and beyond and to
Gillan and St. Anthony where locals and visitors enjoy a wide
range of sailing activities. Diving is available at Porthkerris
Divers, approximarely 2½ miles drive. Views across the bay to
Falmouth, St. Mawes and coastline all the way to Plymouth are
truly spectacular. Lestowder Farm Cottages are near the Helford
River and (Daphne du Maurier's) Frenchman's Creek, and twelve
miles from Helston - the town of the furry dance.
The nearby
Helford River and its tributaries, Falmouth Bay, the Carrick Roads
and River Fal provided arguably some of the most picturesque and
stunning unspoilt shorelines.
National Trust
gardens at Trebah and Glendurgen meander down to the waters edge
on the Helford and the many coastal path walks present stunning
natural beauty.

The farm is approximately 40 miles from the Eden Project which
is well worth a visit. We are also near Roskilly's which is locally
famous for its wide variety of ice creams, jams and chutneys.
You can also enjoy viewing the farm animals and wildlife ponds.
Car parking
is available beside each property and public transport is approximately
1 mile away.
