Trelynden is a spacious, warm and friendly four bedroom family house located, with its own garden, in the heart of the Cornish village of Goldsithney. It’s just a mile from the magical coastline of Mounts Bay, and its special location means that it’s off the tourist track yet within an easy drive of attractions such as Lands End and the Eden project.

Goldsithney itself has two quiet pubs, both offering good home-made country food. There’s a small village shop and post office, and a children’s play area. The village has all the usual country activities, flower shows and garden fetes (depending on the time of year), and cricket on Saturdays, (depending on the weather).

The village is situated one mile from the glorious and safe sandy beaches of Marazion and the spectacular St Michaels Mount, which is open to the public. (Walk or take a ferry over, depending on the tide). Penzance, 3 miles away, is the old market town of the Penwith, with a whole range of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. From Penzance, you can sail to the Isle of Scilly, or take the local helicopter service.

St Ives, with its Tate Gallery, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and a whole cluster of artists’ studios, is just 20 minutes away. West from Goldsithney, and within an equally easy drive, are Lands End, a whole host of tiny fishing coves, and the Minack Theatre (built into the cliffs – an amazing experience in itself, no matter what the weather.) East, and again within easy driving, is the Lizard. For those feeling fit, we’re also within striking distance of the Cornish coastal path. And the Eden Project, which you really must visit, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, are a mere 45 minutes away by car.

Trelynden itself has a comfortable well-furnished living room and separate dining room. The kitchen has excellent cooking facilities including microwave, gas hob, fan assisted oven, dishwasher and larder fridge. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble drier and second fridge with freezer.

Upstairs there are two good-sized double bedrooms, both en suite, a third double bedroom with a hand basin, and a twin room with hand basin.

The rear garden is a lovely sun trap with its enclosed fencing, and patio furniture and barbecue are provided.

All bedrooms have linen and towels supplied. Electricity, hot water and central heating are included in the price.
