Outdoor Adventure was set up in 1981 as a small activity centre and will remain that way, enabling us to deliver high quality holidays and give a very personal experience. This ethos leads to a fun and relaxed atmosphere that benefits everyone and makes it possible to provide consistent quality assurance and value for money. We have a 25 year proven track record of delivering professionally run holidays within the highest standards of safety.

A customised approach

A major strength of Outdoor Adventure is that we are genuinely flexible. All our holidays are customised to ensure we deliver what you want and we go to great lengths to make sure you have the best possible experience with us. We cater for all ages and levels of experience and have created an atmosphere in which everyone feels welcome and part of the action.

We have developed a diverse range of water and land based activities and by remaining flexible we can get the best from the prevailing weather and sea conditions, so you will never be left disappointed or filling time – if it’s too wet to climb, we’ll go on an amazing sea kayak journey up the coast - no surf will mean a fantastic coasteer!. Location

Outdoor Adventure is situated on the unspoilt, rugged north Cornwall coast. It is easy to get to and only 1hour from the M5 junction at Exeter.

The Centre’s setting is incredible. On arrival you will immediately find yourself surrounded by a magnificent, naturally wild, coastal environment. Our cliff-top centre overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and the 10 acres of beautiful Centre grounds have been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest by English Nature and a European area of conservation. Look out across the Atlantic Ocean and feel alive!

We are continually told this is the best bit about Outdoor Adventure. Our staff team are fun to be with, have great people skills, are committed to giving you the best possible experience! They have chosen this to be their career. The instructors are highly qualified and have a wealth of experience and most importantly – enjoy what they do.

Accommodation

Wake to the roar of the waves! We have a great range of rooms available. Singles, doubles, twins, en suite family and bunk rooms. Many of the rooms have a stunning sea view and all rooms are clean, bright, centrally heated and well-ventilated. The centre has numerous hot showers and toilet facilities and our cleaners are in every day.

• Hotel Option
  If you would prefer hotel accommodation we have some excellent hotels local to the centre. We can arrange this for you

• Tee-Pee Option
  Enjoy a taste of the nomadic life-style whilst having all the comforts of the centre’s facilities. Revel in the experience of chilling out under the stars and sleeping in a tee-pee just 20 meters from the Ocean and only 100metres form the Centre.

Food

Your stay is full board! Enjoy your meals inside or out, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. All meals are tasty, home-cooked, varied, healthy and plentiful. We cater for vegetarians and special diets. Adult evening meals comprise three courses with cliff top barbecues on Thursday and Saturday nights.

Board Riders bar

A great place to relax and mull over your experiences of the day with like minded people. With a Mediterranean feel it has a great selection of music, drinks and seated patio area next to the surf.
