The barns are original 19th century farm buildings which have been converted into two semi-detached properties surrounded by lovely gardens. The barns have been beautifully decorated and equipped but still have lots of character, with open beams and original granite features. Outside is a delightful stone courtyard (once the farmyard) with a small private barbeque and sitting area for each barn and the use of a wild paddock for playing, lazing or just wandering about.
When you arrive you will find a complimentary welcome tray, providing what you need to make a welcome cup of tea or coffee and something for breakfast the next day. Or if you arrive late, or just can’t be bothered, you can order a simple supper, which we will have ready to pop in the oven when you get here.
We have tried to think of everything our guests would want from their perfect holiday home and to provide a welcoming, friendly place in which to stay. Come and stay soon.

What's Around?
Beaches are in abundance and close by. Our favourite is Gwithian, 10 minutes drive, and just breathtaking. It is popular with surfers and you can either park at the Towans (sand dunes) and walk down to the beach or drive a little further to the beach itself and Godrevy Lighthouse. Both places have really lovely beach cafes where you can grab a nice lunch with the kids (and an ice cream) or drink a beer whilst watching the sun set.
As for things to do, it depends what you want. The area has lots of coastal walks and is a great place to explore by bicycle. If you want a bit of culture there’s the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum in St Ives and the wonderful Minnack Theatre in Porthcurno.
For the kids, there’s obviously the beaches, the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Flambards Experience (a theme park), Helston; Lands End Visitors Centre; a zoo and aquarium in Newquay and a Seal Sanctuary in Helston. If the weather’s not so good there is also Paradise Park, just down the road (it has a jungle barn) and the Play Zone in St Ives. There’s also a go-karting track less than 10 minutes away.
