the house was built by Captain Kempthorne in 1770, a Packet Ship Captain, who
came from an old West Country family with a long and distinguished history of

service across to the busy town of Falmouth with many shops and restaurants and
the highly acclaimed National Maritime Museum, Cornwall. |  |

is perfectly located to visit the very best of Cornwall: Pendennis Castle, the
beautiful gardens of Trelissick, Trebar and Glendurgan are all close at hand.
The Eden Project and The Tate Gallery at St. Ives are under an hours drive; and
many wonderful walks along the spectacular coastline on our doorstep. |
