Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Tremedda is a working dairy farm and producer of Moomaid of Zennor Ice Cream. Reached by a private lane, Tremedda is on the north coast of Cornwall and the farmland extends down to the coastal path. St.Ives is a 10 minute drive and Zennor a 5 minute walk across the field. Tremedda offers both self catering accommodation in Nonna’s House and Bed Breakfast in the Loggia Room..

Living Room
A traditional stone cottage, Nonna’s House has good sea views and a wide range of features such as a teak staircase, slate flooring and a large working granite fireplace. Outside there are gardens and parking for cottage guests. The cottage sleeps four and is made up of the following rooms:
Kitchen
The kitchen is light with a high ceiling and fully equipped with a Butlers sink, an Aga and ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. There are views from the window of the sea.
Back Kitchen
There is a large back kitchen with fridge / freezer, washing machine, Butlers sink and ironing board..
Sitting / Dining Room
The sitting room has a large open fire (logs provided), a slate floor, exposed teak beams and sea views. It is furnished with a dining table, sofa, armchairs and a TV.
Double Bedroom
The main bedroom has teak floors and views of the sea. It is furnished with a double bed, drawers, armchair and side table. There are also built in cupboards with hanging space. Bed linen is provided and all beds wills be made up.
Twin Bedroom
The twin bedroom has slate floors, fireplace and a balcony overlooking the secluded garden. There are views up Zennor hill from one window and balcony and views of the sea from the other.
Bathroom
With bath, sink and loo. Towels are provided.
Availability and Prices
The cottage is rented on a weekly basis – Saturday to Saturday – although shorter bookings may be available in the low season, please ask. Guests should arrive after 3.30pm and depart by 10am to allow for cleaning.

Bed and Breakfast
Bed and Breakfast is also available at Tremedda. Accommodation is in the Loggia Room – a newly converted ensuite double room in the Grade II listed barn. .

There is a private entrance through the Loggia. The Loggia has a table and chairs so guests can enjoy views up across the gardens and Zennor Hill..
 

The Loggia Rooms is £70 per night.
A twin room will also be available shortly – please ask for details.
Breakfast is served in the farmhouse and includes homemade breads and jams as well as sausages, bacon, eggs and milk all produced on the farm.

Location
Tremedda is on the North Cornwall coast, 5 miles west of St.Ives. The nearest village is Zennor, ¼ mile away.
Driving Directions
From the A30 it is easiest to head for St Ives and then take the coast road for St Just (B3306). The house is around 5 miles out of St.Ives and on the right hand side of the road. There is a granite post with "Tremedda" on it at the top of the lane. If you get to Zennor, then you have gone about 1/4 mile to far. The house is the first on the right (you will pass 2 on your left before).
By Train / Bus / Taxi
The nearest mainline station is St Erth which has a branch line to St.Ives. For trains not stopping at St Erth, guests should use Penzance. See train timetable (nationalrail.co.uk) . Buses can be caught from both St.Ives and Penzance – bus stations next door to train stations. Area

Tremedda sits on the North Cornwall Coast and there is direct access to the South West Coast Path via a private farm path.

Once on the coast path, you can either head west towards Lands End or east towards St.Ives and beyond. There are a number of small empty coves that can be reached from the path. Zennor, a 5 minute walk along the field path has The Tinners Arms pub (serving food), a Norman Church and a village museum. A few miles further along the coast is the Gurnards Head Inn – renowned for good food and often in the press.
