We invite you to stay in our
home, an award-winning farmhouse set in a large landscaped garden.
Each of our four lovely ensuite bedrooms is individually decorated,
and we have taken much care to make each room special; one with
a four poster bed, another with an antique brass bed, all with
fine furnishings that make our farmhouse unique.
You may relax in our large lounges, on comfy sofas in warm
mellow fabrics, with log fires on those cooler evenings.
Farmhouse guests have their own secluded garden on a warm
sunny evening sit outside on the patio with a glass of wine
and just listen to the peace and quiet.
The dining room has a granite character fireplace, with the
original slate floor and warm rugs; a lovely room in which
to enjoy your breakfast.
We are proud of our superb home cooking, using fresh meat
from a local butcher, and locally produced cheese, fresh cream
and vegetables.
If you are looking for a totally unspoilt and peaceful location
Wheatley will be just perfect for you.
Five generations of the Griffin family have farmed at Wheatley
since it was built by the Duke or Bedford in 1871 and today
we are still maintaining the tradition of Cornish Hospitality.
