The farmhouse is a grade two listed house, built around 1740. The smallholding is about 4 acres and was originally a flower farm. It is jointly owned by members of The Roberts family, all living on the farm. The property provides very spacious self-catering accommodation, sleeping up to 14 people, (16 with a bed settee), on three floors. The house has been used many times as a place for family reunions.

The farm is ideally located for exploring the far South West - being within easy reach of St. Ives, Penzance, Mousehole, Marazion, Helston, Falmouth and Truro - very near rail stations of St. Erth, Camborne and Hayle and 40 minutes from Newquay Airport, which is a one hour flight from Stansted Airport, London (Ryanair - Stansted to Newquay prices start at £20 one way). Car rental is available at Newquay Airport.
Land's End The area is a haven for walking and bird watching with the RSPB reserve at Lelant saltings four miles away. There is a trout lake less than 2 miles away. Many National Trust and privately owned gardens which are open to the public are in the South West, where sub tropical plants thrive in the mild conditions provided by the gulfstream. You can also visit the Isles of Scilly for a day trip on the Scillonian ferry or by helicopter from Penzance.

Only three miles away is Gwithian with its vast uncrowded beach stretching from Godrevy lighthouse to the Hayle estuary. This is a safe sandy beach with rock pools and sand dunes forming part of the beautiful St. Ives bay.

Other interesting places to visit are Lands End, St Michael 's Mount at Marazion, the Tate gallery at St. Ives, the ancient settlement of Chysauster and the impressive open air Minnack theatre on the cliffs at Porthcurno. There are also a number of tourist attractions the closest being Flambards Theme Park, Poldark Tin Mine, Gweek Seal Sanctury and Paradise Tropical Bird Park, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project.

There are two gardens: one with play equipment and a barbecue area for your sole use and the other you are welcome to share with us. The garden
