| The picturesque coastal town of
Falmouth on the south coast is just 6 miles away with safe beaches and historical
castles. There are great places to eat in Falmouth many of them waterside and
boat trips go regularly from the Prince of Wales Pier to St. Mawes and Truro.
Truro is also only a short distance away with its busy shopping centre, impressive
cathedral, 4 screen cinema and Piazza where there are often local markets. To
the north coast, the seaside villages of Portreath, Porthtowan, Perranporth and
Newquay boast, the best surfing centres in the South West. The
smallholding has direct access onto the Devoran to Portreath Tramway which is
proving to be one of Cornwall’s most popular holiday activities for walking, horse
riding and of course cycling. The Bissoe Cycle Hire is within walking distance
of the barn and there is a local riding stable where you can hire horses and hack
through the mineral tramways. |
