The cottage is set down a narrow country lane, with very little traffic to spoil the tranquillity. The villages of Chacewater and St Day are both a mile away, each with a number of pubs, a chippy, post office and general stores. North and south coasts are six miles away and also within easy reach are Truro, six miles, Falmouth, seven miles, and Redruth, four miles.
