Downstairs is a large open plan living, kitchen dining area leading to gardens front and rear and upstairs there are two bright and airy bedrooms, one double and a twin. The family bathroom has a double ended bath and separate shower. Parking for two cars is also provided.

The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 and is decorated in soft seaside tones to reflect its stunning cliff top location. Exposed granite walls, natural timber boards and Cornish slate floors contrast beautifully with simple handpainted wooden furniture and contemporary fittings.
Set amidst the rugged scenery so admired by DH Lawrence and surrounded by lush green meadows and sweeping sea views Quicks is ideally located for exploring St Ives, with superb walking country literally on your doorstep and five sandy beaches, restaurants, cafes and bars just moments away.
Located in the beautiful hamlet of Trowan - a private gated community of a dozen individual cottages hidden at the end of a traditional Cornish lane - the cottage is a mile to the west or just a twenty minute countryside walk along the coast to the pretty harbour town of St Ives, five minutes if decide to drive.
An east facing patio leading from the kitchen enjoys the morning sun and the rear garden faces west and is a perfect sun trap, ideal for unwinding in the evening sunshine.

The big, bright and comfy lounge is equipped with everything needed for a restful break, there is lots of room to relax and a huge Cornish granite inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove provides the focal point. A high back chair sits under the window, ideal for anyone wanting to read or for simply taking in the view.

The sunny west facing garden with its patio furniture and bbq has beautiful moorland and sunset views and is perfect for summer evenings. On winter nights settle down in front of the fire, there is an Lcd Tv with freeview and dvd, free wi fi access, an Ipod dock with radio and a selection of books and games to keep you entertained. There is a telephone for incoming calls.

High standards of insulation, double-glazing and efficient combination central heating make this an ideal all-year-round holiday cottage.

The generously sized open plan kitchen/diner has a farmhouse style table and plenty of space for family dining or getting together with friends. The kitchen is hand made with granite surfaces and offers full cooking facilities but with so many great eating places to choose from in town you may not actually get to make use of it ! The freshest local produce is readily available for anyone staying in for supper and you will find all the cooking utensils and crockery that you need, including the all important corkscrew and bottle opener, there is an on site bottle bank for recycling your empties. A coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer are all provided.

Decorated in traditional cottage style the bedrooms have natural timber floors and pretty textiles. Quality mattresses and crisp white linen aid a peaceful nights sleep. The double room has exposed granite walls and countryside views with glimpses of the sea in the distance, the twin has two 3ft single beds, either room can accommodate a cot.

The modern bathroom has a double ended bath, ideal for a long soak after a day of sand and surf or walking the coastal path and a separate powerful Grohe shower. There is a heated towel rail and an unlimited supply of hot water.
