A substantial stone barn complex set around a courtyard with the stables opposite still in use. The barns have been beautifully and tastefully converted into self catering cottages.
An acre of communal lawns, parking space and a children’s play-area means plenty of room for relaxation, and walks can be enjoyed within the Owners’ 500 acre dairy farm, where milking time can sometimes be viewed by prior arrangement.
Although rural, Pengelly Cottages have easy access to excellent roads, so sandy beaches and windswept sand dunes at Perranporth are a short drive away; the mellow south coast, north coast surfing beaches, and the delightful Cathedral City of Truro are also within reach by car.

Bowjy Cottage (sleeps 6 + cot)
Bowjy Cottage is a single-storey property situated along one side. Slate and tiled floors and high beamed ceilings give a light and airy feel to the spacious interior. The open plan living-room has a fully equipped kitchen, generous leather sofas and a dining-area next to French doors which open out to a small, enclosed patio. The en suite master bedroom is on one side of the cottage, with the second double bedroom and twin room sharing a family bathroom on the other side, giving guests a degree of privacy.
Accommodation: Step to Ground Floor Open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas. Digital TV and DVD player. Electric cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble-drier and dishwasher. Bedroom 1 with double bed (5') and en suite Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds and en suite Bathroom with bath, shower attachment, WC and wash-basin (also accessed from hall).

The rural location is relaxing providing walks around the land (stock permitting). Nearby access to excellent roads makes exploring the area simple. Sandy beaches and wind swept dunes at Perranporth are a short car trip away, perfect for surfing, sandcastles, BBQs or bracing walks. The Cathedral city of Truro and the creeks and beaches of the Roseland Peninsular are within easy reach.
Accommodation: The property is wonderfully spacious with the huge first floor open-plan living room with TV/DVD. Wonderful kitchen and dining areas complete with warming woodburner providing a delightful gathering place. The double bedroom on this floor has an en-suite shower room (also accessed from the living room) while another double and both twin bedrooms on the ground floor have en-suite facilities.
